Simply Steamboat was founded in 2008 as a local company, providing "home-town" service from industry professionals. Everyday our friendly staff members live and share the memories and love with our guests and property owners, ensuring each day is lived to its fullest. We take pride in the relationships we have built with guests and owners, with smiling faces reappearing each year, we're sure your satisfaction is being met.

Since we are locals and like to explore ourselves, we are more than happy to share all our knowledge on the condos available, area activities, spas, weather, and real estate. Jody Corey, President

In 2001, Steamboat Springs became Jody’s home, and she has enjoyed all that Steamboat has to offer ever since. As the owner of Simply Steamboat, Jody brings a comprehensive knowledge of property management though her experience in real estate development, interior design and marketing. Jody has gained insight from her own property investments and understands what it’s like as an owner to work with management companies. Simply Steamboat has allowed her the opportunity to combine her strengths to provide a truly unique property management experience.

Previously, Jody was an integral part of one of the most successful developments in Steamboat, Trappeur’s Crossing. Her responsibilities included Sales/Marketing, Owner Relations, and Quality Control for over a 100 luxury condos. She was also the project’s interior designer and was responsible for the finishes within each unit and the common areas. Jody currently holds a Real Estate license and is an active member on many charitable committees within the community.

Prior to moving to Steamboat from New York City, Jody worked in the world’s largest public relations company, Burson-Marsteller. She gained valuable experience in marketing and public relations that have proven invaluable to market Simply Steamboat. Jody graduated with a B. A. from Marist College, majoring in Mathematics and Business Administration.

When she is not busy at work, Jody enjoys both mountain and road biking, hiking, snowboarding and cross country skiing with her husband, Jeff, and two dogs, Kona and Scout.

Alan Koermer, Vice President

Born in Erlangen, Germany and raised in Vermont, Connecticut and Chicago, Illinois – Alan moved to Steamboat Springs in 1997 after graduating from the University of Denver with a double major in Political Science and Environmental Science. Alan went on to receive an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Resort Management from Colorado Mountain College.

With a background in the hospitality industry, Alan has had several management positions in hotel operations, food and beverage, timeshare resort operations, vacation rentals and community association management. Alan holds the certifications of Certified Manager of Community Associations (CMCA), Association Management Specialist (AMS) and Colorado Community Association Manager (CAM).

With his wife, Alan has two children and enjoys skiing, paddling rivers, biking, travel, writing and exploring the great outdoors. Being out in the field to ensuring your assets are being protected are maintained is what drives Alan on a daily basis. His focus on property is operations and HOA management.

Anne Dawson, Housekeeping Manager

Originally from Northwest England, our head housekeeper, Anne has been an employee of Simply Steamboat since 2008. Moving to Steamboat has allowed her to experience the outdoors in a whole new way. She and her husband Pete enjoy skiing, rock climbing, and hiking through the desert and canyons, activities she admits were absent from her childhood in England. Her attention to detail and dedication to her profession are a priceless benefit to the company. With Anne at the helm, homeowners and guests arrive to find their homes pristine and perfectly prepared for any and all guests.

Jenna Bowen, Sales Manager

Jenna comes to us from the Peach State of Georgia. After graduating from the University of South Carolina, Jenna opened her own photography business where she specialized in wedding, family and real estate photography. In 2014, she decided to take a sabbatical and travel to Steamboat where she worked on a guest ranch and fell in love with this beautiful town. After the season had ended and she traveled back east to see her family, the valley called her back home as it does with most. When Jenna isn’t helping you book amazing condos, she enjoys her photography, hiking, happy hour with her friends, and of course her sweet partner in crime – Coco Bean.

Pete Dawson, Maintenance Manager

Pete came to Steamboat in the winter 1989, stayed for the summer and hasn’t left since. For the past 27 years he has been a staple of a downtown ski shop. After many summers working for Simply Steamboat, he was persuaded to join us full time as our Maintenance Manager. When he isn’t at work in the summer, you can find him in his shed working on projects, in the vegetable garden, biking or rock climbing. In the winter he will be out skiing, alpine and back-country, and watching English Premier League soccer.

Hunter Breeden, Marketing Manager

In late February of 2015, Hunter began his longtime dream of living in Colorado. After graduating from James Madison University with a B.B.A. in marketing, Hunter decided to venture out of his hometown, Charlottesville, Virginia, and do some exploring. He immediately fell in love with the area and since the summer following his move, he has had a lot of trouble justifying living anywhere other than Steamboat. His previous work experience has allowed him to grow immensely in the area of customer service, enjoying a diverse group of positions in several different industries. Dedicated to maintaining the forward progression of Simply Steamboat’s marketing efforts, his passion lies in making sure people are happy and able to see the same Steamboat Springs which he feels lucky enough to now call home.

Whenever Hunter is not working, you’re likely to find him around town listening to live music, biking, fishing, snowboarding or enjoying a cold beverage with friends. On weekends, there’s also a good chance he’s on one of the many hiking trails just outside of Steamboat exploring the vastness that originally drew him to the area.

Laurel Thompson, Administrative Manager

Born and raised in the heart of Georgia, Laurel recently relocated to Steamboat Springs with her fiancé, Adam. Laurel fell in love with Steamboat many years ago when Adam, who had the pleasure of living in Steamboat previously, first brought her to visit in 2010. After completing their undergraduate degrees and exploring local opportunities, Laurel and Adam decided something was missing and it was time to move out west to call this adventure town home! Laurel joins the Simply Steamboat team with over nine years of experience in the customer service and hospitality industry with experience in managerial, administrative, marketing and property management roles. When she is not at work, Laurel spends her downtime with Adam hiking, camping, going to concerts and movies, and playing with their Yorkie, Mocha.
