After you are settled in to a beautiful Simply Steamboat condo, you can jump in the car or shuttle and head to pick up your ski rentals at the base. Christy Sports or Black Tie are two of the best rental companies in town. You will get a customized fit in your ski or snow board boots – as well as the newest and best gear! New to Steamboat, this gastro-pub is worth the trip. Take a look at the menu here —

After a phenomenal meal at Laundry you can head home or see what else Steamboat’s nightlife has to offer.

Day 2

Start off your 1st morning right with a home cooked breakfast in your beautiful condo before heading to the slopes at 8:30am to be first in line at the gondola. Enjoy the fresh air and Steamboat’s famous Champagne powder before stopping at Ragnar’s restaurant off of Rendezvous Way for a quick lunch and a yummy hot toddy before heading down to the base. Up next is a wonderfully relaxing 2:30pm massage at Rocky Mountain Day Spa located at the Sheraton.

After a long yet relaxing day on the mountain you and the girls can head downtown to Low Country Kitchen to enjoy a full menu of Southern charm right here in Steamboat. The environment is warm like the homemade biscuits and every server wears a fabulous apron, just like mom. After a wonderful supper a Low Country Kitchen, head over to Schmiggity’s Live Music Dance Bar and dance the night away to some live music with the locals.

Day 3

Good morning! Wake up and enjoy a delicious breakfast at Freshie’s Restaurant. Freshie’s prides itself on great service and very fresh options in Steamboat. There is no reason why you shouldn’t eat well while traveling! Next stop on this fabulous weekend is Catamount to take a cross country ski lesson followed by a glass of wine at the Lake House Grille. After bidding farewell to great staff at Catamount you can head over to Rex’s American Grill & Bar for lunch. With such a wide variety, you can enjoy a fresh kale salad, fish tacos or a brick oven pizza. This will be the perfect place to fuel up after a morning of cross country skiing. Next stop is Strawberry Hot Springs. Make sure you have a 4 wheel or all-wheel drive before venturing out on County Road 36, this is a windy and sometimes icy road. If you would rather enjoy the views there are shuttle options that can pick you up right at your condo! Ask a friendly Simply Steamboat Concierge how to book a hot springs shuttle. After arriving to the hot springs you can enjoy a long soak in the magical water or book a massage.

After a morning of fun adventure we suggest you grab a coffee and head downtown to walk around and visit the fantastic shops Steamboat has to offer. We highly suggest fun gifts to take home to remember this trip forever. After shopping your hearts out head over to Steamboat’s brand new Mexican restaurant, Salt & Lime for craft margaritas and incredible food, then head back to the condo for a movie night with the girls!

Day 4

The best way to wake up after a couple days of skiing and fun – is yoga. Head over to the Steamboat Yoga Center and find your Zen and Namaste your morning off right! After stretching out all the kinks there will be a warm breakfast waiting at Creekside Café. This whimsical restaurant feels like home from the welcoming staff, the beautifully painted walls and not to mention that food. They are known for their famous Eggs Benedict, we highly recommend a Wafflelaughagus, this is a malted waffle loaded with sausage gravy, melted cheddar and jack cheese with your choice of meat and two egg. Can we say yum? After enjoying what might have been the best breakfast in town, head over to the slopes for a mid-morning ski. After burning off that those breakfast calories, grab a quick lunch at Four Points Lodge before heading down the mountain to grab an Après Ski Bloody Mary and Paramount.

Head back to your condo to relax before a beautifully crafted dinner at Café Diva. Chef Kate Rench’s winter menu is both creative and delicious. She strives to incorporate her healthful lifestyle in all that she does, and it keeps her patrons coming back for more. As your last night in Steamboat comes to a close we hope you enjoyed this wonderful little town. We also hope that you come back year-after-year to celebrate our winter season with us.
