Do I Need Really Need To Book Ski-in Ski-Out Lodging in Steamboat Springs?

Ski-in ski-out lodging in Steamboat is the ultimate luxury. Not only because you can step right outside your lodging, step into your skis and hop right onto a ski lift, but because you don’t have to haul all your families skis, poles, helmets, goggles, gloves, tickets, snacks, and everything else… over a great distance… and keep track of your kids hobbling around in ski boots at the same time. Need to take a break from skiing? Just ski back to your lodging for hot cocoa or for your lunch break. Legs giving way? You can take an extra run because the hot tub is so much closer!

Compared to some other big resorts, the Steamboat Ski Resort base area is only the tip of the ski area’s iceberg. The base area is not huge (but the resort is!), and therefore there are a limited number of ski-in lodging properties to choose from. Since slopeside properties are in high-demand, the lodging around the base is very high end, and comes at a premium price. For many, it’s totally worth it!

Edgemont Is Worth It!

In addition to an incredible ski-in, ski-out location, our Edgemont Steamboat condo also boasts the most breathtaking views in Steamboat. At the end of a long hard day on the mountain, sit back with a glass of wine and enjoy the sunset over the Flat Tops and Yampa Valley. If you’re feeling more social, join the other guests in the plush owners’ lounge and sip on a decadent hot chocolate. …Or soak in the hot tubs while the kids splash about in the heated pool. Marco?

Edgemont is not only convenient lodging for skiers, but tired, hungry, or non-skiers can hop on Egdemont’s shuttle to be whisked anywhere around the town of Steamboat Springs. Perhaps you stroll down the hill to Truffle Pig, Cafe Diva, Saketumi, Slopside, Paramount or to any one of the top-notch restaurants around Gondola Square and Ski Time Square… but perhaps you are too tired to walk home. Never fear! The shuttle will be there.
